Landlord Insurance

We strongly recommend that all our landlords consider Landlord Insurance for their rental properties.

We caught up with Carissa, our Property Manager, who highlighted some specialised coverage and its key benefits and protections.

Property Protection
Covers damage to the property caused by natural disasters, fire, theft, and vandalism.

Liability Coverage
If a tenant or visitor is injured on the property, landlord insurance provides liability coverage to help pay for legal fees and medical expenses.

Loss of Rental Income
If the property becomes uninhabitable due to a covered event, landlord insurance can compensate for the lost rental income during the repair period.

Legal Expenses
Landlord insurance can cover legal expenses related to evictions or disputes with tenants.

Tenant Default
Some landlord insurance policies offer coverage for tenant default, providing financial protection if a tenant fails to pay rent.

Having comprehensive insurance not only provides peace of mind but also ensures you are equipped with both financial stability and legal protection for your rental property.

If you require any further support on this matter or any other, please know we are here to help.
