Preparing tenants for success
We continue to experience a high number of rental attendees at our open inspections. Of these, we note a large number of interstate attendees looking to call our beautiful bayside home. This in turn presents us with multiple quality applications per property. It is common in the current environment to have properties leased without bringing them to the open market.
Potential tenants, we have a few tips to help best prepare you.
Book Your Attendance
All our homes that are open for inspection allow you to book into the allotted time via our Sash & Gable website. If you wish to make any changes to your booking, you can manage this accordingly. Our Property Managers are now aware of your interest and will look forward to welcoming you into the home.
Budgeting
Understanding what you can reasonably afford on rent will help you narrow your search for homes within your budget. Try to look at homes within your price range because if you don't have any flexibility on what you can afford, this may lead to disappointment. A guide to your affordability is approximately 30% of your weekly or monthly income.
State of play
Inspecting the property is a must, as it is essential to know if what you are moving in to accurately reflects what is being presented. If you are moving from interstate, we can provide a virtual inspection where possible.
Must Haves
Consider the essentials; whilst they vary from home to home, ensure the home is suitable for you and your family, including your fur babies.
Applying Online
Once you have visited the home, you can apply online via our Sash & Gable website, making the process seamless for our Property Managers and Landlords as they go through the appropriate adjudication process. Remember to supply all the information that has been requested on the form.
